Winter League Match Day 4

On Sunday we held the last Junior Winter League Match of this season on Gullane No.3.

Thank you to all the players that made themselves available to play in our new and experimental Junior Winter League. Some weeks were pretty cold but you braved the weather and I am hoping you all enjoyed it.

It was great to watch you all play a bit of matchplay again and we will hopefully run a similar league next year.

Match Day 4 saw:

Team 5 play Team 4: Team 5 won

Team 2 play The Glen: The Glen won

and Team 1 play Team 3: Team 3 won

The overall winners of 2017/18 winter league are as follows:

Joint 1st with 6 points;

The Glen and Team 3, well done to both teams only loosing one match each.

2nd with 4 points:

Team 5

3rd with 3 points

Team 4 and Team 1

4th with 2 points

Thanks again to all who played and I will look forward to seeing you all playing throughout the new golfing season. First medal is this Sunday, unless we are snowed in that is!!
